ATV-Pintakäsittely Oy offers industrial coating solutions for your components and parts. We serve various sectors of industry by solving problems in production when the base material of the piece does not currently last or requires better properties. Surface treatment can be used to modify the surface hardness of the component and its durability, friction properties, UV resistance, chemical resistance, cleanability, general functionality and length of maintenance intervals.

We have been providing high-quality surface treatment as craftmanship since 1997, which means that we meet the needs of our customers with almost 30 years of experience. ATV-Pintakäsittely also makes food-contact approved coatings! Various coating solutions can improve the properties of your components and pieces by making the better surface! We make coatings that provide for example durability, flexibility, hardness, scratch resistance, UV and chemical resistance.

ATV-Pintakäsittely makes it possible to get everything needed for the surface treatment from the same place: we provide pre-treatments, coatings, quality controls, laser engravings, assemblies and careful packaging under the same roof. We also use individual protections that we have 3D printed ourselves on site, which enable the protection of even more difficult geometric patterns in a well-defined way.

Coating solutions are selected according to the customer's components and the needs set by the target environment the part is being used in. Therefore, we need component information, material, operating environment and technical drawing or image for technical evaluation. We go through the problem, tolerances, temperatures and chemicals, based on which we offer the most suitable coating treatment. All the client information shared are confidential.

We're here to solve your problems beyond coating

We coat individual pieces as well as both large and small series. After coating, the components are checked for quality assurance. The layer thickness, appearance and critical dimensions are checked, after which the pieces are packed and delivered on the agreed schedule.

ATV-Pintakäsittely also offers assemblies of coated pieces. This can mean, for example, combining a coated piece with another coated or uncoated piece, or transferring a coated piece to a jig for the next stage of production. Laser engraving can be used to make product and serial numbers, as well as to modify the appearance or add a customer's logo. Contact us so that we can offer a service package that suits your needs.

Quote and technical assessment

You submit the component's details, material, operating environment, and technical drawing or image. Technical files are handled confidentially. We go through the problem, tolerances, temperatures and chemicals and offer the most suitable coating.

Pre-treatment and surface protection / masking

Degreasing, blasting or other required pre-treatment and protection / masking. The 3D printing of the covers also enables high-quality protection of more difficult geometric objects both in the pre-treatment and coating phase.

Coating

The components and parts are coated with the selected coating and hardened at the temperature required by the coating. Coating is done by hand or with a coating robot.

Quality control and packaging

The layer thickness, appearance and critical dimensions are checked. The pieces are packed and delivered on the agreed schedule.

Possible configuration and laser engraving

The coated piece can be connected to the next stage of the production line by ATV-Pintakäsittely even before transport. The product can be laser engraved with serial and product numbers, among other things. Also feel free to ask more about the lasering of products and/or the possibilities of sub-assemblies!

ATV-Pintakäsittely has just moved to our newly completed production facilities in Kellokoski, Finland. With our new, more extensive premises, we will be able to better respond to the growing needs of industries with Finnish expertise. The new facilities enable us to improve the workflow for our employees, ensure the quality of surface treatments and development of new production techniques as part of our company's services!
